Job summary

St. Luke Hospital and Living Center is seeking a Radiology Assistant to coordinate Radiology Clerk functions and ensure accurate record keeping and smooth operations at the Radiology station.

You will provide scheduling services for outpatient procedures and support direct patient coordination. The role requires solid computer skills, familiarity with medical terminology, and the ability to communicate clearly with physicians, patients, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in medical field preferred; knowledge of medical terminology.
• Efficient in operating a computer and Microsoft Office.
• Able to maintain accurate record keeping and know state/federal regulations.
• Strong people/communication skills and ability to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Radiology Clerk functions and maintain schedules for outpatient procedures.
• Obtain and record accurate patient information and book procedures meeting provider/patient needs.
• Provide excellent customer service with clear communication to physicians, patients, and staff.
• Assist in coordination and scheduling of patient services, appointments and referrals.
• May assist patients as needed.
