Job summary

Atrium Health Union in Monroe, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for Radiology on a PRN basis. The role requires a nursing degree, a state RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS within 6 months of hire. Inpatient RN experience is preferred. This position offers varied shifts and competitive pay.

The RN will coordinate patient care using the nursing process, uphold safety standards, and contribute to a positive patient experience across the continuum in a fast-paced radiology setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience. This position is not for new graduates.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
