University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC) is seeking a Per Diem Radiology Nurse to join the Diagnostic Radiology Nursing team in Burlington, VT. The role requires an RN with at least one year of experience and some Radiology exposure; per diem position with no guaranteed hours and no benefits.

Shifts are Day/Eve with 8–10 hour blocks. Salary range is $41.39–$69.14 per hour; on-call is not required. This is a bargaining union position at UVMMC.

Qualifications

• Greater than one year of experience as an RN is required.
• Previous experience in Radiology is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administer IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures.
• Monitor vital signs, ECG rhythms, and cardiac/pulse oximetry.
• Care for patients undergoing MRI with pacemaker monitoring and sedation.
• Assist in policy writing, flowsheet design, and care plans as needed.
• Perform peripheral IVs, port access checks, suctioning, and catheter insertion as required.
