Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet is seeking a Radiology Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care within the nursing process and tightly support radiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

You will maintain equipment readiness, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in performance improvement activities while ensuring adherence to hospital policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license is required.
• BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain.
• ACLS certification within 30 days upon hire and maintain.
• Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) preferred.
• One year of acute Radiology Nursing experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• Conscious Sedation Monitoring competency within 30 days upon hire and maintain.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist Radiologist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain equipment and inventory and ensure readiness of rooms.
• Adhere to regulations and hospital policies and participate in Performance Improvement activities.
• Serve as a resource for other personnel.
