Role Overview

This role involves administering prescribed radiation treatments to patients, most commonly as part of cancer care, using advanced medical equipment. The radiation therapist works closely with oncologists and the healthcare team to accurately position patients, follow detailed treatment plans, and ensure safety and precision. Compassionate patient support and careful documentation are essential throughout the treatment process.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of experience required.
• Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions.
• Certificates Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and SC license.
• 1-year minimum experience with EPIC required.
• No 1st time travelers at this time.

Schedule

• Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM).
• Call Required: Weekday call every other week 5 pm – 10 pm.
• Float is required.
• Weekends required – 1 weekend every 12 weeks or may change based on need.
