Job Overview:

Facilitate and improve workflow for Radiologists, communicate critical test results, and assist in managing patient information to enhance safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Systems Support and Data Entry: Assist Radiologists, utilize IT systems, monitor critical reports, upload outside images, troubleshoot electronic image transfers, and manage outside orders.
2. Communication: Relay test results, manage patient images, maintain relationships with healthcare providers, and handle high call volumes.
3. Leadership - I-CARE: Build team relationships, mentor peers, participate in quality improvement initiatives.
4. Safety: Maintain safety protocols, monitor emergency systems, ensure a clean work environment.
5. Research and Education: De-identify images for research, prepare conference materials.
6. Customer Service & Relationship Management: Respond promptly to requests, manage legal and external image requests.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of hospital or related experience; radiology experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong customer service and medical terminology skills.
• Excellent communication, computer skills, ability to multitask and handle stressful situations.
