• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details

Required Skills/Experience:Minimum one year experience required, which can be substituted with clinical education experience.Thorough knowledge of radiographic imaging equipment, anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills.

Required Credentials:High school diploma or equivalent is required.Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.

Special Requests:Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained.

Unit Details:Performs radiographic procedures and obtains diagnostic-quality images for radiologist interpretation, including when patients are unable to move.Works with contrast media and responds to contrast reactions; contrast usage is documented in the patient’s chart.The operating room is a priority, and surgeon requests must be attended to quickly.Checks for prior studies and requests merges when needed.

Shift & Scheduling:Weekend work is required.On-call is required.
