Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Radiation Therapist to administer radiation treatments, obtain planning images, and support patient care through simulation and treatment. The role involves CT simulation, immobilization device setup, and operating CT and injector equipment.

Experience with Varian systems is preferred; ARRT (T) and BLS certifications are required, with new grads considered. 13-week assignment with AM shifts (5 days per week) of 8 hours each.

Qualifications

• Licensed radiologic technologist with ARRT (T) certification and BLS from AHA.
• State license required for practice in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments per oncologist prescription.
• Obtain images for planning and targeting for treatment.
• Assess patient condition prior to simulation and treatment; provide ongoing patient education.
• Create immobilization and treatment aid devices for CT simulation as needed.
• Operate CT scanner and MED RAD power injector for IV contrast.
• Obtain and analyze cross-sectional imaging for treatment planning.
• Perform blood draws as indicated.
