Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering radiation therapy to patients.The unit treats various diagnoses with the exception of pediatrics.Treatment methods include 3D, SRS, SBRT, and IMRT.The unit accommodates an average of 35 patients daily for treatment.Approximately 10 CT simulations are performed each week.The equipment includes two treatment machines and a Big Bore CT.The position requires floating to like units as needed.Travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit before starting.Emergency cases and custom molds will be part of the responsibilities.The candidate should be experienced in adult acute care and outpatient settings.Knowledge of various cancers and treatment techniques is preferred.Experience with specific technologies such as IMRT and electron beam therapy is advantageous.
