Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a mobile Radiology - X-ray Tech to deliver on-site X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes and healthcare facilities. The role requires ARRT certification and a valid state license, with vaccination or exemption documentation; you will operate portable radiography equipment and coordinate with radiologists.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes and facilities.
• Perform X-Rays using portable radiography equipment and process images.
• Submit images to a radiologist for interpretation.
• Unload portable X-Ray equipment and perform exams ordered by physicians.
• Obtain diagnostically useful X-Ray images and perform EKGs as needed.
• Transmit X-Ray and EKG results to radiologists or cardiologists as applicable.
• Coordinate with dispatch and management; maintain vehicle and X-Ray equipment.

Responsibilities:Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes and healthcare facilities.Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment.Submit and transmit X-Ray images to a radiologist for interpretation.Unload portable X-Ray equipment and perform exams ordered by physicians.Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-Ray images.Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a cardiologist for interpretation.Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily as per protocol.Communicate regularly with dispatch and management.Interact professionally with peers and supervisory staff.Maintain vehicle and X-Ray equipment.

Physical Demands:The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Radiologic Technologists may need to push or pull weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs.Using vehicle ramps and pulleys can reduce this weight.Pushing or pulling equipment in facilities or homes can increase the weight.50 lbs of force or more can occur 16 to 24 times a day.
