Invision Sally Jobe / Radiology Imaging Associates in Englewood, CO is seeking a Full-Time Pre-Authorization Specialist to manage complex radiology prior authorizations. This in-office role may transition to a hybrid schedule based on performance.

You will navigate payer guidelines, secure approvals, and minimize denials while collaborating with physicians and the revenue cycle team. Strong knowledge of EHR/RIS and HIPAA compliance is required to ensure accurate, timely authorizations.

Competenze

• 2–3 years in medical field, radiology or diagnostic imaging.
• Knowledge of commercial, Medicare, Medicaid payer policies and authorization requirements.
• Experience with EHR, RIS, and payer portals.

Mansioni

• Secure prior authorizations from commercial and government payers per guidelines.
• Identify and resolve authorization issues to prevent delays.
• Collaborate with referring providers to obtain clinical documentation.
• Analyze payer trends to reduce denials and improve turnaround times.
• Coordinate with billing/denial teams to resolve denials and appeals.
• Maintain relationships with insurance representatives and document activities accurately.
• Suggest workflow improvements and ensure HIPAA compliance.
