Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Radiology Practitioner Assistant to join a team delivering high-quality radiology services. Candidates must hold a state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, fluoroscopy permit, and an advanced program certification (RPA/RA) with radiologist supervision.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, documenting patient history, assisting with procedures and biopsies, and coordinating post-care instructions. Travel to imaging centers may be required.

Qualifications

• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• State License Fluoroscopy permit.
• ACLS certification.
• Weber State University (RPA) or approved radiologist-directed program certification (RA).
• ARRT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify and review referring physician orders before exams.
• Provide patient information for interpretation by radiologists and document history.
• Perform diagnostic/interventional radiology procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Assist in biopsies, drainages and other procedures.
• Assist in image acquisition and communicate evaluation reports.
• Document procedures and safeguard patient information per policy.
• Discharge patients with post-care instructions and follow-up notes.
• Travel to outpatient imaging centers as required.
