Job description

Carle Health is seeking a Radiology Practitioner Assistant/Registered Radiologist Assistant to join our growing Radiology team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities

• Join the Radiology department at a well‑established multispecialty group practice
• Typical schedule M‑F / 8:00 am‑5:00 pm, no weekends or holidays
• Perform procedures including: fluoroscopic procedures (static and dynamic), ultrasound, computed tomography, or fluoroscopic‑guided steroid injections, arthrograms, lumbar punctures/myelograms
• Review preliminary reports and images with a supervising physician
• Participate in patient management

Education Requirements

• Master’s Degree from a Radiology Practitioner Assistant Program recognized by the Certification Board for Radiology Practitioner Assistants (CBRPA) or Registered Radiologist Assistant program recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Maintain current levels of education in emerging techniques, procedures and therapies by obtaining a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education each biennium as required by CBRPA or 50 continuing education credits each biennium as required by ARRT

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• Certification by CBRPA or ARRT
• Licensed radiologic technologist in the state of Illinois
• BLS and ACLS certified

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation range: $60.72 - $78.94 per hour. The actual compensation offered will depend on a variety of factors including experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
