Radiologist Opportunity in Salisbury, NC (Diagnostic Radiology)

The Salisbury, NC Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting a full-time Radiologist to join our collegial and friendly group of radiologists in a dynamic radiology department servicing our Veterans!

Positions offer a great work-life balance, manageable workload and an opportunity to contribute to and grow the department with your field of expertise. Our cohesive, congenial department offers advanced imaging to our veterans with up-to-date equipment including, but not limited to, breast tomography, 6 MRI and 6 CT scanners across 3 campuses.

Body imaging exp/training is preferred!

Ideal candidates should be proficient in MRI/CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and general radiology. No peds.

Rare no on-call responsibilities!

Salisbury is an ideal location with exceptional work life balance. Many nearby communities offer housing with proximity to a cosmopolitan city, small town, rural communities or something in between. Good schools can be found no matter the community setting. Salisbury has a charming historic downtown with outdoor recreation in a temperate clime. Choice of international airports nearby. The central North Carolina location gives easy access to beach or mountains.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is impossible to recruit qualified citizens, in accordance with VA Policy.
• Education: A Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine is required.
• Licensure: Candidates must possess a current, complete, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
• Residency: Completion of a residency program in an accredited core specialty.
• Board Certification: Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible
