Position: Division Head Breast Imaging

Location: Evanston, Illinois

The Department of Radiology at Endeavor Health, NorthShore Hospitals, seeks an experienced Breast Imaging Radiologist to lead our 13-member Breast Imaging Division. This leadership role involves shaping the future of patient care, education, and innovation through subspecialty staffing, AI integration, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The Division Head oversees radiologists, technologists, nurses, and support staff across multiple hospital and freestanding facilities, managing approximately 90,000 annual breast imaging studies. The role emphasizes clinical excellence, educational initiatives, and technological advancements in breast health. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in breast imaging modalities such as mammography, ultrasound, ABUS, digital tomosynthesis, MRI, imaging-guided interventional procedures, radioactive seed localization, and other advanced techniques. Leadership experience, organizational skills, and business acumen are essential. Candidates must be board certified in diagnostic radiology with Fellowship training in women’s imaging or breast imaging.

Our facilities include four dedicated breast centers, a High-Risk Breast Clinic, and a Comprehensive Cancer Care Center with state-of-the-art technology. We are recognized nationally for our expertise in ABUS and digital breast tomosynthesis.

The Radiology Department comprises over 50 subspecialized radiologists across divisions such as Breast Imaging, Neuroradiology, Body Imaging, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Pediatrics, Emergency Radiology, and Interventional Radiology. We are a principal teaching affiliate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, training two dedicated Breast Imaging fellows and rotating residents.

Requirements:

• Illinois Medical License or Pending
• Fellowship Trained
• Minimum 5 years of Leadership Experience in Breast Imaging
• Board Certified
