Cetechs, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is looking for a Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Orlando, Florida.

Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (no call required)

Education: Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution in allopathic or osteopathic medicine. Approved schools include:

  • Schools of medicine accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME)
  • Schools of osteopathic medicine approved by the American Osteopathic Association
  • Foreign medical graduates verified by ECFMG, if applicable

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship (non-citizens only if qualified citizens are unavailable)
  • MD or equivalent degree from an approved school
  • Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
  • Board Certified in Radiology

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review imaging requests and ensure proper protocoling
  • Interpret radiology procedures and examinations timely
  • Document procedures accurately in EHR
  • Maintain educational requirements and certifications
  • Participate in training of trainees and supervise residents as per policy
  • Order, approve, and schedule studies, including obtaining prior approval when necessary
  • Perform injections of contrast agents and interpret/report procedures
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed, including radiation safety and MRI safety
