A well-established private practice in Thomasville is seeking a board-certified or eligible Interventional Radiologist. This well-established private practice is seeking a third board-certified or eligible Interventional Radiologist to join their growing team. The practice is a three-physician, four-physician extender outpatient and hospital-based group that is completely independent of diagnostic radiology and focuses solely on Interventional Radiology (IR). Currently, the practice includes two Interventional Radiologists and a general surgeon with a focus on vascular work such as bypass grafts, dialysis access, endarterectomy, and AAA repair.
Featured on The BackTable Podcast, the practice offers comprehensive Vascular and Interventional Radiology services. Patients are seen longitudinally, including in a physician-owned office building. The clinic operates five days a week with a dedicated team of 16 full-time staff, including vascular sonographers, nurses, MAs, a scribe, receptionists, billers, schedulers, a referral coordinator, and a dialysis access coordinator.

Note: PICCs are not performed by IR as the hospital has a dedicated PICC team. Routine CVLs are also typically not performed by IR.
Call is on a 1 in 3 rotation at a Level-III Trauma Center. The candidate will support current workloads, expand existing service lines, and develop new ones. The practice values highly motivated individuals interested in IR and practice growth. VITA has been operating for over 15 years and continues to expand, emphasizing partnership equity.
The practice has an academic component, holding appointments as an Associate Professor with Florida State University College of Medicine, The Medical College of Georgia, and Philadelphia College of Medicine (Moultrie, GA). Faculty appointments are also held with the Archbold Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency. Teaching medical students and residents is encouraged but not required.
