Job description

Premier Physician Services is seeking a Diagnostic/Interventional Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage at a facility located north of Orlando, FL.

Brief Job Description:

The candidate must be proficient in venous access, DVT and PE intervention, dialysis access management, interventional oncology (including multimodality ablation), urologic procedures, and basic image-guided procedures such as biopsies and drainages.

Board Certification: Board Certified - Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology

Shifts: 8 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Call and weekends are required.

Setting: Inpatient

License Requirements: Must have an active Florida license and active DEA registration.

Privileges: 120 days (No Temp privileges)

Start date: As soon as privileges are granted.

Expectations: Must be able to read 70-80 diagnostic cases daily between IR cases; IR clinicians are expected to read 6-10 RVUs per hour plus perform IR procedures.

Fellowship in Interventional Radiology is REQUIRED.

Participation in trauma and tumor board meetings as needed, approximately 30-40% IR workload, with the remainder contributing to diagnostic workload shared among radiologists in the market.

Modality Split: CR 48%; CT 34%; SP 0.7%; CTA 1.2%; MG 0.9%; MR 3.5%; NM 1%; US 10%

DX Volume: 6,500 studies per month

IR Volume: 50-80 cases per month

Mammo Volume: 80 cases per month

Required Skillset: Venous access, DVT and PE intervention, dialysis access management, interventional oncology (including multimodality ablation), urologic procedures, basic image-guided procedures including biopsies and drainages.

Requirements:
