Job description

Premier Physician Services is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage at a facility located near Orlando, FL.

Job Description:

General diagnostic readings with proficiency across all modalities including plain film, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and Interventional radiology. Preference for clinicians capable of Diagnostic/Interventional procedures and Mammography.

Details:

• Duration: Ongoing
• Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm and weekends, 8am-8am, call required
• Certification: Board Certified in Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology; MQSA Certified if performing Mammography
• Setting: Inpatient
• License Requirement: Active FL license and DEA for onsite privileges
• Required Procedures: Stereotactic biopsies, breast US biopsy, wire localization, ductogram, breast MRI, breast US, breast tomosynthesis

Workload and Expectations:

• Daily DX Volume: 50 RVU
• Daily IR Volume: 10 RVU
• Daily Mammo Volume:
• Modality Split: Dx 60%, Mammo 20%, IR 20%
• EMR System: Meditech
• Voice Recognition and PACS: Dictation system fluency, GE PACS
• Cases per Day: 50
• RVU Expectation: Minimum 6 RVU/hr

Required Skillset:

• Diagnostic: Plain film, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear medicine, MRI, CT, Ultrasound
• Interventional: Biopsies, Drainages, Punctures, Major Interventional Procedures

Qualifications:

• Active FL State Medical License
• Active DEA for onsite privileges
• Board Certified
• Diagnostic Fellowship
• MQSA Certification if performing Mammo procedures and reads
