Job description

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Body Imaging Radiologist for a locum tenens opportunity with a prestigious health system in Illinois. This is a hospital-based position where the radiologist will read studies for three locations but will be based at a single site (on-site preferred, remote candidates considered).

Opportunity Highlights:

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed (approximately 3 months)

• Practice Setting: Hospital-based

• Shift: Days

• Readings: CT, Ultrasound, Body MRI

• Case Volume:
  CTs OR
  100 X-rays OR
  60 Ultrasounds per day

• Call Schedule: Negotiable

• Trauma Designation: LUMC (Level I), GMH & MNH (Level II)

• Patient Demographic: All ages (Pediatrics not required for locum)

• Support Staff: 40 FTE radiologists in the department (9 CT, 4 MR readers)

• EMR/PACS Systems: Epic, PowerScribe, Intelerad PACS, Softek Illuminate

• Teleradiology: Available

• Travel: Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed (on-site only)
