Job description

Seeking a BE/BC General Radiologist with strong clinical and interpersonal skills to join our expanding system. Hospital-employed group of 4 Radiologists.

Currently, each Radiologist covers 13 weekends of call from home with teleradiology final reads on weekends and on-demand as needed. Call frequency will reduce with the addition of a new Radiologist. Holidays are shared equally in a fair rotation.

Responsibilities include reading 70-100 cases daily, with about 30% in cross-sectional imaging, and the remainder in radiographs and ultrasound. Nuclear medicine and PET/CT are also performed. The group provides basic IR services, with some advanced IR offered; basic IR skills are preferred. The practice thrives in full-service breast imaging; candidates interested in breast imaging should be willing to read breast MRI.

Technology upgrades include GE Edison TruePACS and Powerscribe One in 2024, with an EPIC EMR upgrade planned for 2025. The practice values work-life balance, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Our system is a private, multi-clinic, single hospital system serving Northeast Missouri, Southeast Iowa, and West-Central Illinois. We are nearing completion of a $61 million renovation and expansion project. The medical group comprises 18 specialties and over 45 providers, with a state-of-the-art office attached to the hospital.

Compensation and benefits include:

1. Over 550K work RVU incentive after 7,500 wRVU; radiologists typically achieve 12k-14k RVU annually.
