Job Opportunity: Physician at Midwest Dysphagia Consultants & Professional Imaging

We are an established medical practice serving Indianapolis and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, physicians will be compensated.

The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas. Professional Imaging started in Houston in March 2005 and has expanded throughout eastern Texas. Our monthly census is approximately 2,300 patients, supported by a staff of 70, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, and support staff.

Benefits and Compensation

• Annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week ranges from approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume.
• Health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and educational stipends are available.
• No weekend or night call requirements.
• Malpractice insurance and tail coverage are paid for by the practice. Over 19 years and more than 400,000 evaluations, we have not had any malpractice inquiries or actions.

Practice Details

Midwest Dysphagia Consultants aims to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, utilizing a mobile unit. Our mobile unit serves various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients, with requests routed through our office staff. Most studies are scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, often on the same day, depending on volume and location. Our goal is for staff to finish their day between 4:00 and 5:00 PM.
