Leading Radiology Forward is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our patient-centered team in Annapolis, MD. You will greet and register patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and schedule appointments in a fast-paced setting.

You will communicate with patients and providers, safeguard patient information, and support back-office workflows to ensure timely care. We offer comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service.
• Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information; obtain signatures and documentation.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
• Answer or transfer incoming phone calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments; notify staff of changes.
• Provide orientation for prep and safety protocols; give directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information.
• Safeguard on-site medications per policies and legal requirements.
• Respect company property and patient financial information.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
