Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient positioning techniques required to image human anatomy.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations applicable to contrast media and medication (as applicable).
• Knowledge of radiation protection and safety (non-ultrasound modalities).
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with individuals of diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervises technologists and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and imaging outcomes.
• Schedules staff across all modality sites to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
• Interview and recommend qualified candidates for hire in accordance with Human Resources policies.
• Monitors daily quality control checks of materials and equipment per manufacturer recommendations.
• Keeps Radiology Manager and Executive Director informed of operational concerns involving staff, patients, or physicians.
