• Maintains knowledge of regulatory standards (JCAHO, CMS, IHI, CAP) and ensures compliance.
• Develops staffing schedules and monitors budgets and resources.
• Collaborates with Nurse Manager, Director and physicians to set patient care standards.
• Mentors staff and leads performance management and development.
• Creates a safe, respectful, culturally competent care environment.
• Addresses patient/family concerns promptly and supports quality improvement.
• Involved in hiring, education, and staff development activities.
