Job summary

Harlem Hospital Center, part of NYC Health + Hospitals, seeks a licensed Nurse Practitioner to plan, coordinate, deliver, and manage comprehensive health care services. You will ensure patient- and family-centered quality care in alignment with policies and standards.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, diagnosing, prescribing therapies, coordinating care, and educating staff and patients to improve outcomes and experience.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification issued by the NYSED.
• Holds or obtains BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive medical and nursing care to patients and families.
• Plans, coordinates, delivers, and manages health care services.
• Ensures patient and family-centered quality care to improve outcomes and patient experience.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates patient plans of care.
• Orders, conducts, and interprets diagnostic tests and therapies.
• Educates and guides nursing staff and other care team members.
