Job summary

East River Medical Imaging in New York City is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to support the Radiology department. The role includes starting IVs for contrast injections for CT scans and MRIs, and providing pre- and post-care for interventional exams, reporting to the Director of Radiology and Administrative Director of Radiology.

The ideal candidate will hold a New York State RN license, ACLS certification, and have at least 2 years of nursing experience; this is a per diem, non-exempt

Qualifications

• Valid NY RN license is required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Starting IVs for contrast injections for CT scans and MRIs.
• Monitoring vital signs, pre- and post-care for interventional exams.
• Updating/monitoring emergency equipment.

Education

Valid New York State Registered Nurse license

ACLS Certification

Minimum 2+ years experience
