Job summary

Description:The Nuclear Medicine Technologist II operates and executes Nuclear Medicine procedures with expert knowledge of all Nuclear Medicine units.The role requires the ability to perform any and all Nuclear Medicine procedures expertly.Skills include operating and performing various tasks in preparing, executing, and completing procedures within the Nuclear Medicine environment.This includes proper order review, basic and advanced Nuclear Medicine skills, and knowledge of radioactive materials handling and safety.Regulatory compliance and excellent patient care are essential components of the role.The Nuclear Medicine Technologist II is capable of rotating between diagnostic departments and hospital Nuclear Medicine operations.This includes coverage on weekends and holidays.Candidates must be willing to float between different departments as needed.No prior charting experience is required, as training will be provided.Background checks will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.Returning staff must have been away for at least one year.
