Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in radiology. The role emphasizes PET/CT procedures, including IV access, contrast administration, and use of the MEDRAD FDG injector. The busy PET/CT department performs a wide range of scans with a 40-hour weekly schedule.

Recent PET experience is required; CNMT or AARTNM licensure is expected. Day shift, no on-call or holiday coverage, and a busy but structured workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Recent PET experience is required for this assignment.
• IV start skills are essential for patient access and contrast administration.
• Hot Lab experience is preferred for radiopharmaceutical handling.
• IV and oral contrast administration experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT scans from skull base to mid-thigh with and without contrast.
• Operate in a very busy PET/CT department with up to 23 patients per day on one scanner.
• No on-call or holiday coverage required; typical 40-hour week.
• Duties include IV start, contrast administration, and injector use as needed.
• Adhere to department protocols for protocol selections and image quality.

• PET/CT skull base to midthigh NET
• PET/CT skull base to midthigh Cerianna
• PET/CT brain
• PET/CT Amyvid
• PET/CT for sarcoidosis
