Department: University Hospital | Perioperative Imaging
The Navigation Technologist performs radiographic procedures for diagnosing disease and injury. They manage and operate image-guided surgery navigation systems/instrumentation to support surgeons visually by correlating intraoperative anatomy with preoperative CT scans and MRI images.
The role includes coordinating, operating, and maintaining navigation equipment within the Medical Center. The technologist performs radiographic procedures aligned with navigation cases for diagnosing or treating disease or injury in the OR and Perioperative locations. Additionally, they provide patient education and perform quality assessment activities under the direction of the Imaging Manager.
Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Certification and Ohio Department of Health Radiology License. No years of relevant experience required; previous experience preferred.
