UKHC in Lexington, KY is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures in accordance with ARRT standards and departmental policies; you will apply knowledge of anatomy, patient care, imaging principles, and safety to deliver high-quality exams.

You must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, hold a Kentucky Radiation Operator Certificate, be ARRT registered, obtain MRI registration within one year of hire, and have CPR/BLS by start date.

Jobbeschreibung

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures in accordance with standards and practice set forth by ARRT and Department Policies and Procedures; and will demonstrate a knowledge of the human structure and functions, patient care, positioning, principles of electromagnetic and computer sciences, magnetic protection, and specialized techniques. The individual in this role is expected to be able to apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures.

An MRI Technologist at UKHC must be a graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, hold a Radiation Operator Certificate from the Kentucky Radiation Operators program, and be registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Will also require MRI registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within one year of hire date and candidate must be CPR certified/hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus: $10,000 for new graduates (less than one year of experience) and $20,000 for candidates with one or more years of experience, contingent upon a 24-month employment commitment. Further details will be discussed during the hiring process.
