UK HealthCare in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures following ARRT standards and departmental policies. You will apply knowledge of anatomy, patient care, positioning, and MRI safety to ensure high-quality examinations.

The ideal candidate will graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, be ARRT registered, obtain MRI registration within one year of hire, and hold CPR/BLS by start date.

Description du poste

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures in accordance with standards and practices set forth by the ARRT and Departmental Policies and Procedures; and will demonstrate knowledge of the human structure and functions, patient care, positioning, principles of electromagnetic and computer sciences, MRI Safety, and specialized techniques. The individual in this role is expected to be able to apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures.
An MRI Technologist at UKHC must be a graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and be registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. This position requires MRI registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within one year of hire date and candidate must be CPR certified/hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
