Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an MRI Tech to cover the night shift on a 13-week assignment in a California radiology unit. The role requires MRI procedures on GE Signa scanners, with Neuro and Orthopedic imaging as typical work, and collaboration with inpatient teams including ICU and stroke center.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience, venipuncture skills, and be able to work independently during the night shift in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures on GE Signa scanners (3T/1.5T) for Neuro and Extremities.
• Work the night shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Provide venipuncture and basic patient prep as needed.
• Collaborate with inpatient units including ICU and stroke center to ensure patient care.
• Maintain accuracy in Meditech and GE PACS imaging records.

Description:The unit has approximately 400 beds.It is staffed by 13 personnel.The unit operates with a day shift of 2 techs, a mid shift of 1 tech, a PM shift of 1 tech, and a night shift of 1 tech.This position is for the night shift from 11 PM to 7:30 AM.Patient ratios are not applicable.The unit is equipped with 3T GE Signa Premier and 1.5T GE Signa Explorer.The EMR systems utilized are Meditech and GE PACS.Typical procedures performed include Neuro and Extremities - Ortho.The ideal candidate should be easy-going, able to multitask, organized, and a team player.There are no floating responsibilities or call requirements.Candidates lacking the must-have skills will not be considered for the role.
