Schedule/Shift

This position is for Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM, with call requirements including Monday - Sunday every 4 weeks. Call hours are Monday - Friday 7:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Saturday 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM, and Sunday 7:00 AM - 6:30 AM.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist is responsible for providing timely imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and adhering to departmental protocols. The role requires the ability to adjust imaging parameters to study various anatomical structures including soft tissue, the arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without the use of contrast media.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Required Experience

At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist is required.

Certifications/Licensure

Preferred but not required: Graduation from an accredited AMA school and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT); Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT; State License as a general radiographer.
