Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses seeks an MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract. You will perform MRI scans, follow safety protocols, and operate MRI equipment with precision.

You will communicate clearly with patients and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate diagnostic information. Requires ARRT MR, AHA BLS, 2+ years acute care MRI experience, accredited Radiologic Technology program, and an Ohio license (compact accepted for starts after 1/1/23).

Qualifications

• AHA BLS certification required at submission
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care MRI imaging experience
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Permanent Ohio license required (compact licenses accepted for starts on or after 1/1/23)

• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Hour Shifts:

• Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Saturday: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Sunday: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

or4x10 Hour Shifts:

• Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Sunday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Monday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI scans on patients, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and operating MRI equipment with precision. The technologist must possess strong communication skills to provide clear instructions to patients and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver accurate diagnostic information.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of MRI procedures with high technical proficiency.

• Ensure accurate positioning of patients to obtain optimal images.
• Collaborate with radiologists to discuss imaging results and findings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT (MR) certification required.
• AHA BLS certification required at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care imaging experience as an MRI Tech.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Permanent Ohio license required (compact licenses accepted for starts on or after 1/1/23).
