Job summary

Baptist Urgent Care in Germantown, TN is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Technologists to join our team. This role performs x-ray testing, operates diagnostic equipment, develops film, and supports Medical Assistant duties as needed.

The position offers full-time hours on rotating 36-40 hour weeks, with weekend rotation and PRN options. Candidates should have TN X-Ray license, BLS, and ARRT certification preferred; MA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage intake in the exam and x-ray rooms.
• Perform x-ray testing and operate diagnostic equipment.
• Develop film and prepare the radiology room with required supplies.
• Assist with Medical Assistant duties and patient transfers as needed.
• Ensure radiation protection and shielding procedures are followed.
• Document patient information and maintain accuracy in records.
• Maintain radiology equipment and report malfunctions to management.
