Job description

Overview

We are seeking a Manager of Radiology Services, sometimes referred to as a Manager of Radiology or Radiology Manager. The Manager of Radiology Services provides leadership, supervision, and coordinates department activities, ensuring safety for both patients and staff.

Bonus Options: up to $20,000

Employment Type: Full Time

Shifts Available: Days

Hours: 8-hour shifts

Location: Dallas Medical Center - Dallas, TX

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Manages all human resource functions of the department, including overseeing training, ensuring staff competencies, and maintaining safe staffing levels
  • Develops and manages budget to meet department, organizational, and patient safety goals, ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Monitors departmental indicators and PI activities, reporting as directed
  • Performs radiology technician duties when needed to respond to departmental needs
Qualifications

Must-have qualifications:

  • Associates Degree from an AMA-accredited program in radiologic technology; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Certifications in imaging modalities (Radiology, CT, MRI, Ultrasound)
  • Specialized training in CT or MRI preferred
  • Supervisory experience in medical imaging functions
  • Experience as a radiology technologist, Nuclear Medicine, or other modalities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Current state license (CRT), Fluoroscopy permit by CDPH, and ARRT-R certification
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulatory standards
