Job summary

Central Florida Health Care, Inc. seeks a Lab Assistant with X-Ray Technician duties to support clinical lab operations. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, EKGs, specimen handling, data entry, and basic radiology tasks if licensed.

The role requires a Radiology program graduate with active Florida licensure, BLS, and computer skills. You will collaborate with nursing and providers, ensuring quality lab results and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology school/program.
• Active Radiologic Technologist or Basic Machine Operator License in Florida with CEU requirements.
• Active BLS certification.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-house testing including EKGs and phlebotomy.
• Prepare lab specimens and transport properly.
• Maintain QC logs and calibrations for equipment.
• Review lab results for accuracy and escalate as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient identification per standards.
• Provide coverage as needed outside regular hours.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in QA activities.
