Job summary

Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital in Torrance, CA is seeking a Radiology Interventional Technologist for a full-time, day-shift role. The Angio Tech performs vascular imaging and participates in diagnostic and interventional procedures under a licensed practitioner.

The position requires certification milestones and at least 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience, with ARRT credentials and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• California Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification upon hire.
• Within 1 year of hire: ARRT Vascular-Interventional Radiography.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year diagnostic radiology experience.
• Computer entry and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for interpretation and/or therapeutic intervention.
• Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain ethical patient care.
• Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures.
• Respond to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs across all age groups.

Radiology Interventional Technologist at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance in Torrance, CA. This position is Full Time and will work -hour, Day shifts.

The Angio Tech provides health care services using medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients. Perform radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for interpretation and / or therapeutic intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. The Angio Tech responds to patients and families with knowledge of age‑specific needs based on all age groups.

Required Qualifications

• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography

• 6 months Health care setting including, but not limited to, department secretary, admitting, billing or a medical records clerical position.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $48.79 - $75.74
