Job summary

Providence Little Company Of Mary San Pedro Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures at a skilled technical level, applying ionizing radiation for diagnosis. The role supports patient-focused care in a collaborative team within San Pedro, CA.

Requirements include CA Radiologic Technologist licensure, ARRT Radiography and BLS certifications, with CT certification targeted within 12 months. The position is onsite and aligns with Providence’s mission and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiological Technology or AMA-approved equivalent.
• California Radiologic Technologist license on hire.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association on hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification on hire.
• Within 1 year of hire: ARRT Computed Tomography certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures at a technical level using prescribed ionizing radiation.
• Operate CT equipment following approved protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.

Education

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiological Technology or equivalent in approved A.M.A. program.
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography.
