Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to assist the interventional radiology and surgical teams during procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic angiography, venography, fistula grams, central line placements, biopsies and drainages. In this role you typically serve as circulator or scrub, providing critical support.

The position requires Washington state radiologic technologist certification or equivalent and relevant interventional

Qualifications

  • Washington state radiologic technologist credential is required.
  • Cardiovascular invasive specialist certification required at hire.
  • ARRT radiography certification and applicable national registrations are required at hire.
  • Within 1 year of hire: additional interventional radiology technologist registrations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist interventional radiology, vascular surgery, and related teams during procedures as circulator or scrub.
  • Perform roles in angiography, venography, fistula grams, central line placement, biopsies and drainages.

Description

Assist the interventional radiologist, vascular surgeon, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, neuro-interventional radiologist, or neurosurgeon with performing interventional radiology procedures including but not limited to diagnostic and therapeutic angiography of the head and body, venography, fistula grams, central line placement, biopsies, drainages, and pain injections. Typical roles performed during procedures are as circulator or scrub assist.

  • Associate's degree, Or
  • Coursework/Training: Two-year technical program
  • Coursework/Training: Completion of an approved radiology technologist training program
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist or
  • Upon hire: Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or
  • Upon hire: National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International
  • Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography or
  • Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography or
  • Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
