Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to support a community hospital in Philadelphia, PA. The role covers daytime shifts from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, with 5 eight-hour shifts weekly; weekends are on call.

You will join a small team of 2-3 technicians and 3-4 RNs per shift, handle procedures like thoracentesis, line placements, and biopsies, and use Epic for patient information and pre-procedure prep.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
• Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Familiarity with Siemens Artis Zee and GE Ultrasounds is preferred

• Perform procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, line placements, lumbar punctures, biopsies, drain placements, and dialysis work
• Care for patients undergoing GI bleeds, UAEs, port placements, G-tube placements/replacements, and nephrostomy tube placements/replacements
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 and provide personalized care
• Use Epic to look up patient information and prepare for procedures
• Assist in setting up tables and scrubbing in with physicians as needed

Join our small community hospital, where we treat fewer than 20 patients daily, providing a blend of inpatient and outpatient care. Our team typically consists of 2-3 technicians and 3-4 Registered Nurses (RNs) per shift.

Responsibilities
