Job description

Interventional Radiology Physician Needed Near Sacramento, CA

A well-established physician-owned private practice is seeking a full-time, board-eligible or board-certified Interventional Radiologist. The group has a busy clinical IR practice covering two local hospitals. The team includes 22 physicians: 4 fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologists, 2 Neuro-Interventional Radiologists, 16 Diagnostic Radiologists, and one IR physician assistant.

The IR service offers a wide range of advanced procedures for the treatment of PAD, venous disease, IR oncology (Y-90), kyphoplasty, and GI/GU diseases. There is an outpatient IR/NIR clinic on campus at the main hospital, which has over 500 beds. Call coverage is divided equally among physicians. The team actively participates in hospital service lines such as tumor board, level I trauma, and comprehensive stroke care. The practice also provides Teleradiology and home reading options, emphasizing personal satisfaction and work-life balance.

The new IR physician will be employed as a W-2 employee, with a competitive base salary plus RVU-based bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package. Relocation assistance is available. There is a partnership track. This opportunity is located near Sacramento, with San Francisco only 1.5 hours away. Please note, this position does not qualify for Visa Sponsorship.
