Job summary
Accountable Healthcare Staffing seeks an in-person Interventional Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in the Dayton, OH area. The assignment requires hospital-based IR procedures with a call schedule and potential for travel reimbursement; malpractice coverage is provided.
Open dates include 10/22, 11/5, 11/12, 12/24, 12/26, 12/29 night shifts, 12/30 night shifts, and 12/31 both day and night shifts. Annual ER volume is high and the team consists of 2 IR physicians.
Qualifications
- Board-certified interventional radiologist.
- Experience with biopsies and oncologic procedures.
- In-person locum coverage for a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person IR coverage at a hospital in Dayton, OH.
- Adhere to the M-F; 8a-5p schedule plus weeknight & weekend call (7 days per week).
- Document procedures accurately in Epic and PACS.
- Perform 15–25 procedures per day.

- Reason for Coverage: Need in-person interventional radiology coverage.
- Practice Setting: Hospital
- Call Schedule: M-F; 8a-5p + weeknight & weekend call - 7 days per week
- Annual ER Volume: 80k
- Documentation System/EMR: Full epic and PACs
- Number of Exam Rooms: 2 rad rooms
- Number of Radiologists in Practice: 2 IR
- Volume of procedures: 15-25/day
- General community interventional radiology procedures
- Strong biopsy & cancer needs
