RAYUS Radiology is seeking an Insurance Specialist for a per diem/temporary role in the United States. Expect to perform insurance pre-certification and authorization by contacting insurers and patients, and to maintain positive relations with referring physicians and patients.

The position requires at least 1 year of healthcare insurance experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong HIPAA compliance. Shifts vary and daily pay is available through DailyPay.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and healthcare insurance experience for pre-certification and authorization.
• Proficiency with HIPAA guidelines and handling PHI.
• Experience with managed care and physician office scheduling is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform insurance pre-certification and authorization calls with insurers and patients.
• Enter patient and scheduling information accurately into computer systems.
• Maintain positive relationships with referring physicians, patients, and staff; backup front desk when needed.
