Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years of experience in radiology department or related healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of radiology department workflow and imaging modalities.
• Familiarity with radiology information applications required.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong written/oral/analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyzes and resolves problems in Radiology reading rooms.
• Ensure patient images and information are available for physicians to review.
• Ensure studies are readily available on PACS for physicians.
• Assist in data management and accession numbers for patients.
• Coordinate workflow and image transfers with other facilities.
• Train residents on new equipment and workflows.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and departmental policies.
