Responsibilities

  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs to assist providers in the diagnosis of patient care.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including x-rays and CT scans with accuracy and efficiency according to provider orders and established protocols.
  • Review images for diagnostic quality and forward studies to radiologists for interpretation.
  • Schedule and coordinate patient imaging appointments, maintaining an organized workflow.
  • Adhere to all radiation safety standards to protect patients, staff and yourself.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and exam logs.
  • Radiology employees: supervise, hire, train, schedule and evaluate.
