Job summary

Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services in Gibson City, IL is seeking an entry-level Imaging Technologist I to perform x-ray and/or sonography exams. The role supports 24/7/365 imaging services and may include call rotations, with employment across multiple imaging facilities within the organization.

You must meet ARRT registry-eligible or ARRT RT(R) with IEMA license, or be a non-registered sonographer pursuing RDMS SPI eligibility. ALARA and HIPAA are emphasized daily.

Qualifications

• ARRT registry-eligible or ARRT RT(R) with IEMA licensure.
• RDMS SPI eligibility criteria if pursuing sonography.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to ALARA and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Shows and proves competencies on x-ray and/or ultrasound equipment.
• Executes exams in a timely manner with high quality.
• Maintains equipment and work area in a clean, organized state.
• Follows HIPAA and patient privacy protocols.
• Cross-trains for non-tech tasks and supports team as needed.
• Complies with infection control policies and safety guidelines.
