Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a RadiologyTechnologist to perform radiographic and nuclear medicine examinations under supervision. You will position patients, operate equipment, ensure image quality, and maintain records and rooms in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include patient communication, data entry, charging procedures, and adherence to ALARA principles. Prior experience in radiology or nuclear medicine rotations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: post high school up to 18 months; enrolled in accredited radiology or nuclear medicine program.
• Experience: 1 year as radiology student or completed nuclear medicine clinical rotation at Prisma Health.
• Computer and systems proficiency including PACS/EMR and standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic or nuclear medicine examinations under direct supervision.
• Processes film and checks quality; positions patients and operates portable equipment.
• Maintains room cleanliness and supplies; ensures patient comfort and safety.
• Explains procedures to patients and communicates delays or issues.
• Manages requisitions, charges, and archival verification; ensures data accuracy.
• Knows ALARA principles and proper handling of radioactive materials.
