Job summary

Memorial Hermann Imaging Department seeks an Imaging Tech Aide to assist in examinations, maintain supplies, and support patient care in a fast-paced setting.

You will work under a licensed Radiology Tech, communicate patient needs, coordinate orders, and help with PACS and other computer-based tasks. Shift: 7:30am - 6:00pm, four 10-hour days.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR/BLS within 30 days, and healthcare experience or enrollment in Radiologic Technology.

Qualifications

• One year or healthcare setting experience or enrolled in Radiologic Technology program.
• Basic computer knowledge in Windows and use of email.
• Ability to follow written instructions and perform basic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations in customer service.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care under Radiology Tech guidance.
• Assists in planning and documenting care in patient records.
• Maintains communication with healthcare team to ensure quality of care.
• Enters physician orders, coordinates diagnostic testing scheduling, and maintains supplies.
• Ensures safety and adherence to Memorial Hermann policies and standards.
